Why not call it £500billion a day?

If you're going to repeat a lie, make it big.

Ok - let someone take over your business, make the decisions and pay them for the privilege.

Is it better if we do not mention the 350 million a week figure?

Does it make the point less valid?

Yes, your point is invalid, your figures are wrong, and you seem to think there were no British politicians involved in the EU.

Places in the UK, such as Cornwall and Wales receive far more from the EU than they put in.

Decisions about UK business - well, lets talk about UK fisheries. Who from the UK was on the fisheries committee in the EU? How many meetings did he attend? How often did he vote?

Other decisions - how often did the majority of UK MEPs disagree with the votes in the parliament?

It did work, it’s just that your English exceptionalism and snowflakiness means that because you secured some vetos and concessions on immigration (alongside the restrictions that you were always allowed to put into place but never did), but lost on others, you’re stamping your feet like a baby and shouting that you never get what you want.

Stop acting like a 3 year old.

                We haven’t left yet.

And if/when we do, who will you blame for your inadequacies then?

(I think the other thread has the answer to that question...)

Their (UKIP) votes wouldn't have mattered, which is something I believe he (NF) said very early on - about always being outvoted anyway so why bother turning up etc...

                    Why bother turning up?
                    Why bother debating?
                    Why bother voting?
                    Why bother having democracy?

Because if you don't bother to do your job, you can't complain that your voice wasn't heard, you can't say that you didn't try to make a difference.
Instead, it's about blaming "them" rather than doing something.

What did Farage achieve in his job? Nothing. He didn't go to work, he didn't do his job, but he still thinks he deserves to get paid and he preaches that there was no point in him trying. Talk about a traitor! He disrespected his constituents. He failed in doing his job as an elected representative. All he did was complain about other people who actually bothered to turn up and work.

He is a lazy benefits cheat, stealing off those of us who are hard working tax payers and taking the job of someone who might have turned up.

The EU is a democracy in much the same way as Russia is a democracy.
