It's nothing to do with EU rules, but all about WTO rules. And we know Brexiters are very pro-WTO rules, so its all OK.

The UK was also obliged by the WTO Government Procurement Agreement to put the contract to open international tender. Yup, that's the same WTO whose rules Brexiteers are always saying are great for Britain. So are they now insisting that Britain pull out of the WTO too?
