    And if you don't want a hard border, why has TM the PM said there might be one. The EU have said no to a hard border. TM has said she won't rule it out.

        Link please, here's mine showing the opposite of what you assert;

          According to NorthernladUK, a search facility is very useful - perhaps you can attempt to use it?

          Maybe google? Heard of it?

            Yes, it came back with nothing, hence my ongoing request from those on here who trot out the claims every few days, but never have evidence of them actually coming from the government or brexit negotiators.

              Here's what she said in The Times:
              https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/e...-may-zt85kdlv8

              And then the comments she made to the BBC were that Boris Johnson didn't say what is reported in the Telegraph:
              https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics...leaked-letter/

              Or here:
              Theresa May Brexit speech: Brexiteers must face up to 'hard facts' - Business Insider

              even if the imagined technology is developed that 80% of transport is not stopped at the border, they are saying that 20% will be stopped.
              If people are being stopped, it's a hard border, you can't spin it any other way.

              If there was no border, then there'd be free movement of goods and people

              There either is a border or their isn't. It's not 80% soft, 20% hard. That's a hard border.

                From your 1st link;
                "Any hard border or a customs border in the Irish sea which broke up the country’s national common market, was unacceptable, she said."

                From your 3rd link;
                ""Just like it would be unacceptable to go back to a hard border, it would also be unacceptable to create a customs and regulatory border down the Irish sea," May said."

                Now, perhaps google will be your friend, as you search for the definition of unacceptable

                While you're on google, try finding your assertion, but directly quoted from TM;
                "TM has said she won't rule it out."

                I bet you can't find it, so please - stop harping on about things that haven't been said

                  You'll be lucky.

                  Now what is needed is for some kind agency to check through the Referendum results and to issue all Bremoaners a Squishy, a fidget spinner, and a comfort blanket.
                  That way they might stop having panic attacks until the grown-ups in charge of the expected negotiations, those that have arisen as a direct result of the democratically expressed wishes of the majority, are fully enacted.

                    And this is why it's impossible to have a debate or discussion with Brexit supporters. Eventually their argument is smilie faces and change the subject.

                    The wishes of 17million people were "to leave the EU". It's been up to others to flesh out what they mean by "leave the EU", unfortunately those who are supposed to be fleshing it out haven't decided amongst themselves what they mean by "leave the EU", and until the negotiators know what they want, then "leave the EU" is just more wishy-washy nothingness that professionals in business don't know what to prepare for, that organisations and individuals don't know what to prepare for and that the rich elite of Boris, Jacob, etc are happy to milk for all its worth.
