Back in those day, you see, it was not considered sacrilegious to be taught about British history, warts and all.
Once it became trendy to study "Media" and "Humanities" and "Drama" instead, all semblance of pride in our national identity began to drift away.
That also might explain why so many of the millenials voted REMAIN. Blinkered philistine pig-ignorance of their country's past.

The citizenship test is ludicrous. We should be checking that people understand our major laws and believe in our core principles, not asking daft questions about who built the Tower of London etc.
One test for all makes no sense either. They should vary according to where people come from, focusing on any major differences of laws and cultures from our own.bloggoth

Public sector pay squeeze will continue.
Combined with negative Brexit effects, that will mean Corbyn will get in.
History will judge that the Brexit vote set off the acceleration of the end of a once great county.
HTH, BIKIWHard Brexit now!
