EU : We will only talk about what we want to talk about. Any deal must be approved by 28 individual governments. And in any deal the UK must suffer - punishment for daring to stand up to the 4th Reich.

Think most people see this as like not paying your book subscription , if you don't pay you don't get your books half price. Would you call Netflix after you stopped paying your subscription and tell them they are punishing you for not providing their services anymore ?

As for what we pay 9 Billion is a small fraction of our GDP so you have to decide is the trade worth it, already banks are pulling people out of the UK and they are jobs lost not additional jobs created, same goes for other industries that do a lot of trade in the EU.
Also we are seeing UK companies being rejected for any Tenders for EU civil projects, collaboration projects like fusion, Galileo, Airspace and IT not having UK scientists and engineers being considered where their contracts go over 2019.

Juncker's job figures blasted as ECB says unemployment in eurozone is TWICE as big

ECB chief Mario Draghi has dropped a bombshell by declaring unemployment is more than double what official eurozone stats claim.

The astonishing announcement puts the spotlight on the stagnating European Union and says the real unemployment figures are around 18 per cent rather than the 9.5 per cent rate put out by the bloc.

If the Book Club starts telling me what to read and do then I might want to leave. Now they have an opportunity to retain my custom in part if they change.

Strange when I phone a supplier and say I am going to leave they want to change the deal to keep me especially if I am a significant part of their business, they tend not to invent an imaginary and legally un-enforceable 'Divorce Bill' tell me to pay my Bar Bill and throw me out of the Golf Club.

Now if Netflix have a pay as you go option they would be stupid not to offer it. Same for the EU, talking of punishment and other unpleasantness is hardly sensible.
