The reality is that the EU has picked up a lot of expensive children(the Latin countries) and will want maintenance from the hard workers(the UK).

Theres no assets. Eu grants etc go without paying it back. You can have few wines and couple of bricks from eu parliament though and take your fair share of politicians back
