You are not a permie, you are a business, ultimate responsibility for getting paid lies with youOriginally posted by pauly View PostThis is all internal work as opposed to consultancy. The Head of Programme Delivery put a new structure in - compromising of five Programme Leads reporting to him. I reported to a Programme Lead - the Lead had me working across many projects but did not provide the authorisation to get allocations sorted out. If I do not have a full week of allocations - the whole internal system marks the contractor as absent.
This new structure was deeply dysfunctional - and created situations like mine. Ultimately I guess was the Head's creation - and they are responsible.Originally posted by Stevie Wonder BoyI can't see any way to do it can you please advise?
I want my account deleted and all of my information removed, I want to invoke my right to be forgotten.Comment

And is the work that is detailed in your contract schedule? The lead having you working across many projects sounds very much like control to me.Originally posted by pauly View PostThis is all internal work as opposed to consultancy. What rubbish. Besides being highly unprofessional what would that achieve? Someone spots it and mentions it to the client who can identify the contractor....Originally posted by Boney M View PostWow seems very tulipty of the clientco, I would name them if you are allowed to on here after you have been paid, certainly wouldnt want to work for them'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

You seem to be hung up on this internal system like it is the godly bearer of monies. It also now sounds like this is just the default state for time entry with no codes. You originally said the client was actively rejecting and marking you as absent. Is this now not the case?If I do not have a full week of allocations - the whole internal system marks the contractor as absent.
Also is this the approved timesheet mechanism that your agency also has access to, or produces agency timesheets from?
From the agents perspective (who they have a contract with), all that should matter is that the he/she can invoice the client in accordance with some acknowledgement from client that you turned up and did some work. Using 'official' letter headed paper timesheets or "it must be inputted on system X", is all nonsense.
Whilst this is the only information you seem to have to go on, we still don't know the real reason they haven't given you this allocation for 4 months. If the agent has provided a contractor and there isn't really any funding at clientco in place for the contractor, the agent should be warned so that they can pick up the phone and interrogate whoever signed the agency/clientco contract. Whilst it is very odd your agent doesn't seem to be bothered that you haven't got your timesheets signed for so long, they will be bothered if they smell a liar without any real budget at the clientco. This is all internal work as opposed to consultancy. Very Amusing
Trolltastic
Since your getting the chop and never getting paid anytime this year (about june next year at a best guess) and no chance of getting work as a permie or contractor in another department as your a trouble maker, why not go down all guns blazing and call the Project/Programme/head/ - 'Insert latest name' out for a fist fight.?
If this is real
No wonder you were terminated, PM must think you are an idiot to work for free for 5 months, He must be thinking can this man tie his own shoelaces. Get Rid soon asComment

No agency would be happy to have a contractor on site and not be paid for them.
In fact some agencies clearly put in their contracts to stop contractors delaying submitting timesheets if you don't put in an invoice within 2 months you aren't going to get the money simply because they can't get the money if you don't have timesheets."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
