    Mortgages: 1yr umbrealla, 1yr Ltd

    Hi chaps

I am looking at mortgaging a house after being in rented for the last 2 years. For those 2 years I spent the first 12 months under an umbrella and last 12 months now under a Limited company. I have a contract for the next 6 months. What would be my best way to secure a mortgage, as most lenders will want 2 years of accounts. As an Umbrella I didn't have any accounts. If it make any difference at all, I have been in the same industry for 20 years (I.T.).

    Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks

You could try asking your bank to see what they require before presuming you have to go to one of these specialist lenders and pay a higher interest rate....
