    You could try asking your bank to see what they require before presuming you have to go to one of these specialist lenders and pay a higher interest rate....

    Hi chaps

    I am looking at mortgaging a house after being in rented for the last 2 years. For those 2 years I spent the first 12 months under an umbrella and last 12 months now under a Limited company. I have a contract for the next 6 months. What would be my best way to secure a mortgage, as most lenders will want 2 years of accounts. As an Umbrella I didn't have any accounts.
