So I guess that at least buys us time up until the Huitson/Shiner FTT decision.
Be nice to know when this is going to happen? Sometime in 2007 would be nice - oh wait a minute we don't have a time machine!

Well it's good to have it on record I guess.

No idea when the tribunal will be heard. I'll ask the SG.
Hope we get the Rangers judge though!

Article 39 of the Magna Carta states; 'No freemen shall be taken or imprisoned or disseised or exiled or in any way destroyed, nor will we go upon him nor send upon him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of the land'.

Although it does not say so explicitly, I presume the good Lords, Knights and Barons meant the law of the land as it stood. Time travel was only invented in more recent times!

Has anybody heard any more about WG (MontP) and his impending trial for fraud?

Just to follow up, we're still waiting for a date to hear the Huitson and Shiner cases at the FTT.

It could be early 2015, but this is pure speculation. It's entirely dependent on the courts.

Sorry I can't be more specific than this!

Any idea how long it might be after a case is heard before there might be a decision?

I seem to remember the previous court decisions took months. Not sure about the FTT though.

Again... speculation and I don't have an answer.

From the FTTT, or alternatively, the quality of the cardboard box I need to buy for my family, depending on how you look at it.

Just noticed this on the BBC. Maybe this is how they'll get around the Magna Carta issue, though I thought they could just have grabbed a quill, stroked out the bits that they didn't like, and added in the new ones, and dated the changes as 1215, signed King John pp
