He has always been very supportive just really a catch up with him and want to get his views on the proposed changes in the Finance bill and its impact.

Should we be expecting a HMRC response from the adjudicator, I seem to remember someone posting that a reply would be sent out around the 14/05, anyone had anything yet?

Read this yesterday and loved how this "journalist" parrots the Gov's rhetoric verbatim. But hey, it's the BBC...

I guess us serfs have no business "commenting" as the purpose of this article is the same as that of the "we're closing in on you" posters HMRC loves - merely telling us what they're gonna do to us.

Just new to the forum here, and would like adive if possible. My local MP is faily well know labor MP, but is not on the Finance Committee. Is it still worth me going to see him ? If so, is there a quick link to some literature so I can be prepared with what I'd like to say once there ? Thanks in advance.

DaveJohnno, YES, by all means, you should see your MP regardless of him sitting on the committee or not.

As per my post above, I intend to compile a "cheat sheet" very soon (editing help is welcome...) but in the meantime, please check the "Facts" page on dotas-scandal.org, which has a number of bullet points to elaborate on when you meet your MP. Hope it helps.

Love how quickly "tax avoidance" has become the new ultimate sin - to be ashamed of, and to atone for in public, of course.
A textbook example of a witch hunt, and of the much loved "divide and conquer" tactics so skillfully deployed by our dear leaders. Gotta grant it to them.
