    Another interesting use of retrospection

In their minds the law is an irrelevant nuisance.
On the bright side, at least we dont live in Cyprus where they are about to steal Euro 5 billion of peoples life savings !

        Am I missing something?

The latest toolkit on the NTRT website that I can see is August 2012.

I cant see anything new in that that my MP isnt aware of already. Am I missing an update containing the most up to date situation?

        Thanks for any help.

My MP is a senior cabinet Minister and has never shown the slightest interest in assisting me (merely passing on letters to Gauke) but that's not to say that I wont continue to be plague him with correspondence and meeting requests.

Of course this is one of those wholly exceptional circumstances....Yeh right... That nebulous "wholly exceptional" is as vague as they meant it to be but having the temerity to mention the tax payers again as if the government is doing them all a favour makes my blood boil... It is a shame he was all for tax planning and has suddenly gone very cool on it all. I know he has grand plans but he is setting aside his principles to get there which is not a good sign......... I got a letter and it was a complete u-turn on his previous stance he is now very much in the you should have expected this camp....... It did take about 3 months for a reply........

              Current status

Apologies - I'm sure this is on here somewhere, but can someone give me a quick update on current state of play?

I have heard nothing from HMRC for over a year - are they waiting for something?

              Excuse my ignorance......

Seems they have decided to take Huitson to first tribunal. That is expected to take until well into 2014. And its not binding on the rest of us.

That sounds interesting. Is this something to do with our case?
