Though I do recall thinking Hodge was OK when she was giving Hartnett a hard time.
Politicians are wonderfull people, as long as they stay away from things they don't understand, like working for a living!

ya gotta love a good socialist for hypocrisy. You never seem to see them giving up their spare rooms to a homeless person for the night do you. But they are all for the distribution of wealth arent they, or sorry is that only when it suits you as an individual?

      Socialism, load of old toffee!

Yes they believe in the re-distribution of wealth to the masses. They overlook the fact that they have no idea how to create the wealth in the first place.

It's probably worth about £2M now: EDIT - double that to £4M, prices are from 2005

Property values in Richmond Crescent London N1 - Zoopla

Her pal, Ed Milliband has got a nice mansion in Dartmouth Park Hill, N19 too.

Makes you wonder what socialism is all about!

I don't recall the leaders of the old Communist block countries ever being poor. Far from it, they were competing with the dictators of facist states in the wealth rankings.

It can be no secret that the last Labour Government spent money the country did not have to spend on those people that would vote Labour thus buying electoral votes.

Continuing to spend wastefully with a growing non-productive public sector can only succeed in sending the country rapidly towards third world status. We are nearly there. The last Government succeeded in ensuring that it will take a generation to get UK plc out of the mess that they left behind.

              MP Acceptance

Just had response from my MP that he will be attending the meeting in January.

There are still a number of survey responses outstanding, and I guess some haven't sent the invite to their MPs.

The NTRT team with Whitehouse have worked hard to get this meeting and getting the room full will be success in itself. If you haven't already done so, PLEASE send an invite to your local MP. We want people to have to stand or even queue in the lobby to get in.

This is our opportunity to get our situation across to to a good proportion of the House of Commons. We cannot do it for you, but you can help us by sending out the invites and if necessary chasing up in due course.

              Thank you.

MP not interested in the slightest

I sent my MP that latest campaign letter and he responded by giving me this link:

                http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/about/briefings/time-to-pay.pdf

Talk about missing the point entirely especially as I told him I have been unemployed for 12 months.

He is a cabinet minister so I responded by saying I expected nothing less and assumed he would do nothing but follow the party line.

If I ever vote conservative again in my lifetime I will eat a plate of tulip.

Yes and there is a clue in the first line what is meant by time to pay, its not years, what a complete TNUC! (use a mirror!)

HMRC helps individuals and businesses with short-term financial difficulties by offering them ‘Time to Pay’ arrangements, provided that they meet certain criteria.
