Donated again - spurred on by the good news in the e-mail well done to everyone @ NTRT - not getting carried away but its a step in the right direction

i've donated a fair bit - but its still works out at only .25% of my liability (its big!!)

if it comes off it'll be money very well spent......

      Thank you!

And, coincidentally, 0.25% is exactly what HMRC are charging us in interest every month (currently 3% p.a.).

            Received standard Gauke letter

Over weekend I received the latest standard response from Gauke via my MP. I was about to write back to my MP and something like

"thanks for your letter, seems like things have moved on this receiving this letter, blar blar blar"

just wondering if we have a standard response from NTRT, maybe with next step for our MPs.

            thanks.

                  Donation made

That is certainly a positive letter - well done to all at NTRT and those MPs who actually have principles. Further donation made as requested - potentially one the best investments in my life!!

                  Chins up.

                      Sent a further donation

Just had another look at the website again and wonder just how this nonsense even got to parliament. With all the evidence we have compiled it seems obvious to me that this is disciplinary stuff for those concerned. I bet there is a lot more incriminating stuff we haven't seen.

What is really annoying is that the mongrels involved will only get a slap on the wrist and no more if/when it all comes out.

God I hope we win this soon. I haven't been able to take my family on a decent holiday since it all began. I need a new roof on the house and my wife still cries whenever she thinks about it all which of course makes me feel even worse because she really is an innocent victim as it is my tax affairs after all. I still firmly believe on a purely risk based approach that the DTA scheme was the safer bet over IR35. With IR35 we had no certainty in our liability. With the DTA scheme we had reasonable expectation that it was acceptable. Certainly wasn't any precedent for retrospection.
                      Regards
