      I thought that too, but PCG policy says

      If there is no current engagement, then the daily rate will be calculated on the basis of the last set of accounts.

          Well, I have taken out PCG standard membership for the HMRC cover. Exempt from jury service so decided not to go with PCG+ or Taxwise as per my original query.

            Although you aren't exempt from aspect inquiries or agencies going bust. Bet you upgrade next year...
