My response has an interesting variation, though!
Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostAny replies will be a copy and paste job. All the letters to the MPs will be passed on and a generic response sent. Its what happens after that which counts - will any MP take this further?

All the replies posted here contain the line "I am sorry to hear about the distress caused to you by the changes...".
In my case, the words "to you" have been omitted.
Perhaps I'm being fanciful, but at least it shows that someone has actually read the emails closely.Comment

I have also asked that in tomorrows budget BN66 is revoked.
We must keep the pressure up on our MPs they cannot ignore this any more!Comment

Treasury Response & Another Snippet
Got one too....
You guys also might to know I had meeting with KPMG last week
I have 7 years exposure (with Montpelier) but was interested if they might support / bolster my journey through the tax tribunals if necessary (to give me time to pay etc)
They said they would and also said they had advised their clients to pay up as the scheme clearly doesn't work (their words)
