Guys, with respect this thread is about Tract I see no reason for it to become a forensic examination of other umbrella solutions.

Having read the marketing blurb from Tract a page or two before, I have to say that I have rarely seen such a poorly worded document, and obviously working in in the industry I can see huge holes in what they were saying. If I can spot that, any decent accountant worth their salt should have been able to do so as well. Looking at that, I have to say that the tract scheme was the sort of "dodgy" operation that gives other more reliable firms a bad name.Comment

Facebook page setup
Although this forum is a good start I think we need some central place to focus all this.
There is a facebook page setup for Tract Management Consultants, it would be good place for people to post some info and updates on whats happening.
No url, you can check it out on facebook for yourself.
As always if you do anything stupid or post anything silly it'll get shut down.Comment

Tract Management -umbrella - liquidated and my money is gone
Originally posted by write2vin View PostHi ,
I am a contractor and am using an umbrella company called Tract Management Ltd. , this company has not paid me for 45 days and owes me around £8000. They intially told me they would pay each 45 days ( 1.5 month cycles).
I have been trying to call and send them emails but don't have any reply from them. Their website has been pulled down.
What are my legal options ? how can I get my money back ?I am contracting for the 1st time and am really in a fix, all help and advice is much appreciated.
