tax man wrote to me advising he's checking the tax I paid for student loan's

Oop's I may have messed up here as I havent paid it ever quite possibly, in the tax return i did state my student loans number but i never made any effort to make contributions!
Apparently after teh taxman speaks to my accountants I may need to pay around 1500 which is fine but I sure hope he doesn't investigate further?

Bearing in mind you tried to claim driving lessons as an expense, you got in to a situation where you were billing for 5 months back pay and you have had a Surcharge liability notice in the past (and admitted in a couple of threads you have forgotton do submit various things and were late) I would say you have a huge red flag hovering over your account.

I think you really need to start pulling your socks up and sorting yourself out. Sounds like you are just inviting an investigation and from what I can see you haven't really got it covered properly.

Maybe this is your wake up call to take some notice? If you are indeed one of the people that will try and fudge the system until they catch you I think you are going to be in for a lifetime of crap and will get very little sympathy on here I am afraid.

I never claimed the driving lesson's! I simply asked if you could and even contractoruk posted a news link on their frontpage!
Anyway your right i need to keep on top of things I should have told my accountants from teh start to maek sure I start paying the Student loan its only 5k too
