I registered a limited on Monday and am now not taking the offered contract and staying perm. I haven't signed any documents and company was setup for me by SJD. Just wondering how I close it down.
You will owe them something if they've gone as far as setting up a Ltd for you...

Sorry you feel that way. Let me elaborate on my basic question. If it is still too basic for you, maybe another forumite might feel that a constructive response would be useful.
Is it straight forward to close the account down or will accounts have to be drawn up to prove no business has gone through the firm. Trying to minimise any associated costs where possible.

If the company hasn't traded at all i.e. completely dormant, then it costs £10 (paid to Companies House) and a form DS01 which you can download from their website. Simples.
