I guess thats why they are in public rather than private sector in the first place. They'd be bust within a year in the private sector if they took the same stance of not really knowing the real cost of implementing a strategy and how it affects bottom line.

OK, I'll come clean, if he's in power after the next General Election, I'll be off!Comment

IR35 left a new niche to be filled, ripe with the new and unplundered resources that go with it. It was like giving the Galapogos to the first turtles. And quite CLEARLY, HMRC would not be the receivers of the new resources, they were only the seeders after all.
The same will happen when they lose their current case against us. Everyone will be back on the tax-planning band-wagon and the turtles will have a raft of new genes ready to be unleashed in an explosion of tax avoidance mutatations.
Mr you Know Who, his cohorts and their shenanigans really are a bunch of thickos. I p!ss in their open-mouths and laugh all the way to the bank, quite literally!

FOI requests
HM Treasury have responded to some of the FOI requests:
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/body/hm_treasury
Obviously they have not provided the info we want.
The next step is to request an Internal Review. This won't make any difference but it is a pre-requisite for complaining to the Information Commissioner.
Once they have responded to the Internal Review, then you can use this simple form to complain to the Information Commissioner.

Yup had a response which amusingly has every other page on the pdf upside down.
As anticipated there's no real info that I can see would be of real use in your campaign.
When I get some time I'll follow the Internal Review process.Comment

Have requested an Internal Review just to keep them busy'Orwell's 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual'. -
