I've a feeling we're now on the "retail" online banking platform too, so we get to speak to the brain dead retards at the call center. Oh joy.

Just checked my account and the balance is wrong by £40K!!

That said, the debits and credits are right, it's just the balance that is wrong.

I'll give em a couple of weeks to sort it but then I walk.

Oh no! I used to use Natwest until "changes" made an utter balls up of their telephone banking. Don't say Abbey have screwed up too. Off to check.

I chose Abbey because they don't seem to charge me for anything I do on my account, and because I didn't have to visit a branch to set it up. I got the impression at the time this was not a combination that was available elsewhere?

Going to draw the money I need from my business account (I keep the business account at zero balance, and move money from the business reserve as required to the business account (don't ask why you were never allowed to transfer directly out of the reserve?!?!?) - Now the reserve 'move money' option is shafted!!)

Anyway........desperate times and all.......I have to go overdrawn on the business account to get the money I need and that will get 'queue' them to phone me - (got bored of talking to a retard after being in the queue for hours). I will explain to them quite bluntly that they can shove the charges up their gary glitter.

I get both of those things from Cater Allen. They also seem quite clued up on the basic to medium complexity stuff when you phone them. And the web site works, perhaps not intuitively, but it works.
