This current Stasi-govt has put the onus on all agencies/accountants/businesses to be their spies and if they do not volunteer info about what their clients are up to, they will also be brought to book.
Whatever happened to client confidentiality and the rule of law!?
Even though the scheme is perfectly legal, the govt bully-boy tactics were enough to make certain agencies just decided not to use Montp. I would use them again if possible.Comment

rejected petitions
There are a number of petitions on the downing st website that were rejected. I particularly liked this one :-
We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to
just go now.

Treasury not responding to MPs letters
Any theories as to what they are up to? The only explanations I can think of are:
1) they have parked this until after the budget is out of the way
2) they are waiting to see if the JR gets the go-ahead. If it does, then they may respond saying they can't comment because it's now in the hands of the courts
The question is how long to give them before we start chasing?Comment

the revenue seems to give me to do things. The letter my MP sent to the
treasury was dated 28 February so that's about now.
I'm hoping to get this in before the JR appeal so they can't use the pending
legal action excuse.Comment
