    straightforward answer

I was with Parasol a few years back. I've also had a few guys work through my Ltd and I recommended Parasol. No problems at all for either myself or for them so I would say they're the way to go for a brolly.

    HTH.

    Older and ...well, just older!!

The umbrella I use pay me same day as money arrives with them. Everything is done on line and is really simple and quick to use and I only pay £55 per month. From what I have been told a dispensation is not a get out of jail free card when it comes to expenses - you can only claim for what you spend basically.

Same day payment, sound good. Who are you using?

            ContractorUmbrella vs ParasolIT

John, ParasolIT let you claim £15 per day unreceipted if away from your home for more than 10 hours; ContractorUmbrella do not. ParasolIT include PI insurance for 3 Million including run off cover; ContractorUmbrella do not. They both charge £55 per month. Any comment?

                Oh Dear?

PlanetIT, was that 'oh dear you shouldn't be claiming £15 a day unreceipted' or 'oh dear should have gone with ParsolIT'? ...or even just a general 'oh dear' !

Pretty much the former (unless you actually incurred costs of £15). What ParosolIT allow is largely irrelevant. Unless they have been given the contract to run the UK tax office while I wasn’t looking.

And can produce the receipts to prove it, of course.
