Starling Bank is a think of wonder. Perfectly integrates to FreeAgent as well.

I suppose the ideal contracting bank would be the one that doesn't insist on posting you paper statements every month
My issue with them is their support for China over HK. Service wise I'm happy enough and don't mind the fee. Yeah I know there's free banking elsewhere but I wonder if the 'cost' is in poor service.Comment

Completely agree. The Live Chat function on Starling is particularly excellent. Any issues I've had - from fraud to erroneous payments - I've spoken to an advisor within minutes and had it sorted."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

I did wonder if our 'sort' of business wasn't welcomed at Monzo⭐️ Gold Star ContractorComment

They could only deal with companies that purely had individuals as PSCs at Cos Hse. In our situation there's now a company (the trust itself) which is listed as a PSC. I appreciate your contracting company is highly unlikely to be employee owned...but perhaps you've got some kind of quirk there which makes them uncomfortable?
Not very 'challenger bank' of them⭐️ Gold Star ContractorComment

Nope. One owner, no crazy turnover, listed as IT Consultancy. Was a case of (in typical banking style) "we can't have you as a customer and we can't tell you why"
