The old man will do it for a fiver and throw in a happy finish, but this may be one of those cases where cheapest is not the critical consideration.Originally posted by SteelyDan View PostAnyone know/suggest the cheapest 24hr turnaround contract review (for IR35) service? Ok ok, most cost effective, qdos, other? I've seen £50/£60 which I think was for 24 hrs turnaround...sound typical? Who do you use for this?Originally posted by northernladuk View PostYou want the cheapest with this clusterf**k going on?

I've not seen an expedited contract check that cheap. Especially not one that will do a proper review rather than a tick box exercise of key clauses. Make sure you're comparing apples with apples when looking at what you're getting for the money.Originally posted by SteelyDan View PostOk ok, most cost effective, qdos, other? It’s cost me twice as much as that in the past for a 24hr review."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

I'll give QDOS a call & see what's what...costs seems to vary quite widely from what I saw this morning.Originally posted by cojak View PostIt’s cost me twice as much as that in the past for a 24hr review.Clarity is everythingComment

Same.Originally posted by cojak View PostIt’s cost me twice as much as that in the past for a 24hr review.
For a written, detailed one I'd think closer to £100-150.Comment

I started to fill in their online form to get a quote for the cost of the review but it then started to get a bit complex before I could actually get a quote, so I'll just call them at some point this morning.Originally posted by Invisiblehand View PostSame.

Why are these things never easy?

From what I can see QDOS charge £49 for a "contract assessment", or £125 for a "full contract review". May be extra if you want very swift turnaround.Comment
