Forming a company - shares, etc

    Hi guys,

I had a search through the forum to no avail. I was just wondering what kind of shares are best for a one man band ltd company? On the ltd company set up website there are:

Ordinary, preference, deferred ordinary, deferred, redeemable, redeemable preference, A ordinary, B Ordinary and C ordinary.

Do most people just go with Ordinary or A ordinary? I'm planning on just having 1 share. Also what is the aggregate nominal value? Can i just put 1 there?

    Thanks guys!

    Hi Kristen,

Why don't you arrange for an Accountant to help with the setup of your Ltd Company and then the ongoing support to help with ensuring everything is setup correctly etc.

Because the OP asked about accountants earlier and I suggested a Freeagent not a local one with no portal etc. They then came on asking how to track expenses which freeagent would do for them do just re-enfocing the fact the best recommendation is to go contractir specialist with freeagent.

An Accountant with a good portal, that is a Contractor specialist would also enable the OP to keep track of expenses.

That might have been a more complete answer I guess.
