When I chased a debt and got the principle paid (but not the interest), the phrase used was "in full and final settlement". I took the money.

"I accept the offered compensation as a full and final settlement".

Probably OK, as a judge would view it as it is.
Unless new evidence came to light, or if the insurance company on either side decided they wanted a piece.

Bear in mind that compensation claims for car accidents are against insurance companies not individuals.
