No locking of this thread just because you don't like some of the answers.

To answer the original question you must retain receipts if the subsistence expense is not incurred outside the UK. And you cannot go by a process of "averaging", you can only claim the actual costs incurred (plus £10 for each night spent away from home)

Not allowed them for a few years now.
I'm trying to buy another guy's LTDCO of him when he retires as he has a special dispensation of £120 a day irrelevant of location
Not sure if that can transfer but I'll look into it when he does retire.

          Hi Lance

          It's your lucky day.

I have two of these companies, with this sort of dispensation, do you want to buy one of mine?

What is different if it is outside the UK ?

p.s. looking here https://www.gov.uk/government/public...outside-the-uk, it seems that while working in EU I can claim almost 100eur per day in subsistence without receipts, do I read it correctly ?

I have posed the question to my accountant about transferability.

Nothing to get wind of.... My accountant says "All existing dispensations will cease to be effective after 5 April 2016.".

Why does your accountant use the future tense about a past event?
