Is this your first contract?
Are you planning to do more?
Umbrella = Easier
Ltd = higher return

Difference = A hell of a lot more than 5%.Originally posted by seanraaron View PostI thought the difference was only like %5? Sweet deal though either way to me.
Although whether the contract is inside IR35, also, will have a bearing.The Chunt of Chunts.Comment

Struggle with the basics = Umbrella (for a time)
Willing to put the effort in and learn = LTD
Don't forget you can go umbrella just for the first gig while you find your feet. The difference in income for that three months compared to the rest of your contracting career getting it right is miniscule.Last edited by northernladuk; 19 January 2016, 16:24.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

I'm thinking on the basis of being within IR35 and not paying yourself dividends here, but I know nobody really does that...Originally posted by northernladuk View PostErm..
