    Business Banking

    Hi

I'm after recommendations for my LTD business account,

Currently with Lloyds but tried to get a £100 overdraft, and they wanted to charge a one off fee of £100
Also high fees for the rare occasion a standing order returned or un-authorised overdrawn (£50)

So looking to move to get a £100 overdraft included in application at no cost.

Been with Cater Allen but moved away as they dont to fast transfers to personal account

Been with HSBC due to rubbish mobile banking app

My Ltd has been going since 2007 so may not qualify for a lot of the new start up deals

Any recommendations on good low cost accounts much appreciated

How do you manage to be in the situation where you need a £100 overdraft or are charged due to insufficient funds. Surely at any point in time you should have thousands in VAT and CT (at the very least) sat there... unless you've spent the lot

Lol.. Very good. Just wish someone called 'stupid' or 'moron' would post a question so I don't get a ban when I reply.

Good question as both the banks the questioner has been with provide an adequate service if you do your bookkeeping correctly.

How can you need a £100 overdraft. Sounds like you need to manage your money better.

Run your own overdraft for free. Put the bulk of your money in an Aldermore savings account then transfer funds in when you need to pay them or when balance dips below a certain amount. Your business should never be living month to month, apart from during the initial setup...

If the suitcase one went to General because an half decent contractor should know the basics of expenses can this go as well as any half decent contractor doesn't need a £100 overdraft. Add a couple of 0's maybe but 100 quid... Really?!?!?!
