Thanks MishiMoo (and thanks again as in PM).

Has anyone yet had a response from MTM for 06/07 or 07/08 (but please don't post the wording on the forum) - I'm curious as to the difference as I thought that the scheme was the scheme was the scheme?

    Thanks,

    Grip.

The FTT courts around the country hear, in total, an average of around 600 cases per year. Many of these cases are trivial in the sense that they involve straightforward issues and the hearings last less than a day.

Our membership is now well over 500. TAA is relatively complex.

Somehow I don't think we'll all be getting individual tribunals.

DR - thanks again for a great job, much appreciated (via NTRT)

As there is a lot of noise on this thread would it possible to provide a brief overview of where we are re APNs and the FTT approach and possible next steps.

        Thanks

Are we anymore likely to secure a faster route to the tribunal because of our growing numbers and profile, or are we on the same footing as joe blog?

That's probably best left to the next newsletter.

However, I'd be surprised if any cases end up anywhere near a tribunal.

Taxpayer says he/she wasn't in fact self-employed. HMRC argues he/she was.

                Anne Redston supplementary opinion

                We received it this morning.

It just confirms, and amplifies, what she stated previously.

Get ready to rock and roll.
