IMPORTANT: If you are a Sanzar, Garraway, Winchester, Darwin and/or IQ scheme user

As you may be aware, HMRC are currently conducting enquiries into certain schemes. Sanzar, Garraway, Winchester, Darwin and IQ are among many other schemes that are affected by these enquiries. For Sanzar initially they have requested a large payment is made back to them by each of their users based on a retrospective recalculation of their tax liability.

Under new legislation approved in 2014, HMRC will be able to issue Advance Payment Notices (APN's) for money that they believe is owed to them. Under this new APN concept we will have to pay up the amount within 90 days of receiving this notification without a right to appeal.

We have created a private group where all affected and potentially affected scheme users can join forces to appoint a tax specialist/law firm that will help us understand what our rights are and where we stand legally.

It is important to understand that even if you have not yet received enquiry letters you most probably will in due course and we need to ensure we all come together in order to have some sort of chance of getting a fair treatment.

In order to become part of the private group you will need to provide proof of having been part/or being part of any these schemes.

If you have any questions on the subject please PM myself or Old Kent Road.

Unable to PM - would like to joing

Hi, I've been a member here for a couple of years but unable to send PM's. Unless it's something I'm going.
Been with Sanzar since 2009, and then with Garraway and Winchester. Now working out a deal with HMRC.
I didn't get any help from their original company nor the company they put me onto chsglobal.
Would be v grateful for any help, and happy to join any class action lawsuit.

Sanzar group has over 150 members now. We have a dedicated Barrister working for our group.

JR application and representation to the APNs received and due to be received are also being implemented.

Hence anybody (Sanzar scheme users) who is still not a sanzar private group member but has received an APN with a deadline, has to contact OLD KENT ROAD to get access to the private forum.

United we stand, better for us.

            Winchester/Wise Move/Darwin

            Hi forum,

I was contacted by Darwin for processing my payments, they referred me to wise move, who then put me in contact with winchester. They claim i can get ~85% of my pay as take home, via a loan from a trust which I now know is a EBT, they claim its UK based and legal. I know other off shore EBT's are being looked at, does anyone know if the UK based EBT's are any better? or should I run for the hills?

            Thanks

Really? No, let me rephrase that.

              REALLY??

              Read the previous posts.

              Read this http://forums.contractoruk.com/hmrc-...gh-darwin.html

              And then read this: http://forums.contractoruk.com/hmrc-...following.html

So, if after reading those posts you really are that gullible then go for it.

Lol.. you are aware EBTs are a really really bad idea but you are still thinking of using one albeit ever so slightly different. That's the most ridiculous thing I've read in quite awhile.

So a brand new ID named after a terminally short sighted cartoon character posts about using an EBT variant when there's no shortage of coverage that EBT's and other avoidance schemes are spectacularly stupid to sign up to.
