      This was what Microsoft said:

It appears that your salary requirements were not properly transmitted and were above the threshold for this position. This should have been vetted prior to scheduling the interview.

Sorry for that. The recruiting company in the UK made two errors: salary requirements were not checked and wrong time. I sincerely apologize.

Did Morgan McKinley break any employment regulations?

No, since you are a contractor and are employed by your own Limited Company, or alternatively by the Umbrella company that you have chosen to use. Microsoft are not employing you...It is their standard HR policy which they are spouting and nowt to do with your (potential) Employment status.

As I have previously mentioned, the laws in the UK are not the same as in your country of origin.
I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

So the client says it was clearly a mistake, and not, in their opinion, malice.

            Are you still pursuing this?

What do they mean by "wrong time"?

Did you actually do any research before you started this futile process?

If you are going to pursue this via legal channels, it is important that you rectify the conflict between your two posts. If you don't know whether they have breached any employment regulations or not, how do you hope to win any argument?

Get your facts sorted, put together a case, and fight it, if that's what you want to do. But the important part is the first bit - if you don't know whether you are right or wrong, the chances of you winning are negligible.

You have a logic problem here, don't you think?

TF means that the system is stacked against you if you are unsure of your legal position. It may be different where you are from. It would help to know where that is, unless I missed it in an earlier post - this is because there may be others here with experience of your country of origin and may be able to explain to you where our legal system and precedents differ.

They made a mistake, your negotiations weren't successful. It happens, you should try to get over it.

Yes, I did my research and I am here to ask for further advice, do you have a problem with that? Is that what forums are for?

And yes, I get that you think it is futile. And thank for your advice.
