    Folks, I fear that you might all be antagonising Frank?

    Personally, I have made my opinions clear and what was a "popcorn" thread, has turned into "shooting fish in a barrel"? Every question hooks the poor man, and he can't help but answering.

    Come on Frank, move on and find another contract - you will do yourself a great favour and earn some boodle towards paying your legal fees?

    We don't want him to disappear from the forum, so let's assume that he hasn't read the FAQ's, is not knowledgeable about IR35, has never bled a radiator, hates Gladiator films and also never licked the chutney spoon before putting it back?
    I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

      Very interesting psychology here. While I appreciate the kind-hearted advice about not wasting time to fight the agency, I am puzzled by the hostility of some because I was going after the agency. If agencies are bad in your mind, why are some of you people not at least voice some vocal support?

          @Frank

          No hostility at all, quite the opposite, in fact?

          I sincerely think that you are wasting your energy and time, since whether you win, or not, its going to cost you money. As a self-confessed new immigrant (I am an "old" immigrant), the UK is somewhat different to the USA (my assumption of your origin). You are not "employed" by Morgan McKinley. You are not employed by Micr0S0ft. You are employed by your Limited Company, or by an Umbrella Company.

          Where you have engaged with the ASA, you have done this in your personal capacity and have no limited liability. There is potential for MM to pursue you, personally, in which case you will have very little option other than to engage a firm of Solicitors which will cost a not inconsiderable sum, which will NOT be recoverable, even if you "win".

            I would say that they have nothing they can use to pursue me. They may be able to make a libel case based on what I have said here, so I am making sure that what I am saying here are facts, not made-up as some posters here had suggested.

            There are different legal angles that I can pursue them but I am not at liberty to talk about them here yet. Stay tuned.

              When you're out on a date, and the lucky young lady fails to put out, perhaps you just grab a kebab on the way home and think "maybe next time".

              Then when the next time comes around and she still doesn't put out, and you get the distinct impression that she's just passing the time until a a better proposition comes her way, do you:

              A) Grab a kebab on the way home and decide that you won't bother meeting her again as she's wasting your time. Or...

              b) Look for some regulatory agency which supposes that it has the right to, and might be able to punish her for having the outrageous insolence as to dare waste your time ?

                  If she has a pimp then b) may be a possibility.

                    Dual use for the kebab as well. And then eat it later.
