You ask for opinions and then the moment they're not ones you like you say you aren't interested in what random people on the internet think.

If you're interested in what people think, why aren't you interested when people think they know it all?

If you ask for opinions, why aren't you interested in personal opinions? What kind of opinions are you looking for?

TBH I don't have anything to say to some of my old contacts on linkedin from years ago that still might be useful so dropping them a note just to say Happy Birthday seems to be a fairly good way of keeping you on their radar.

Hopefully they read your LinkedIn articles on how to use forum search functions effectively.

For the first time today an agent called me and said I didn't get the gig. They mentioned the client said I was a great candidate but they went with someone else.
