    National Insurance contributions.

I'm due to receive a full state pension in July. Currently working through an umbrella. If I continue after July will I have to pay the employer's National Insurance Contributions (NIC) (13.8 per cent) and the Apprenticeship Levy (0.5 per cent)?

Not quite true but close enough.

The money that an umbrella sends to HMRC as Employer NI and Apprenticeship levy isn't ever your money - the agency is lying about the rate being paid.
