Does anybody have any good links to point me in. I want to get into a little c# while I have some downtime on this project. I'm from a VBA background, so it will have to be pretty basic!!
Thanks in advance.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Seriously though, C# (and in fact all of the .NET framework) is huge. Set yourself a task and learn whilst you accomplish that task.
Once you're comfortable with the basic syntax and how the language behaves you can move on to creating your own classes
Cheers folks - Got a really basic book to cover the err basics! One of those learn it in 24 hours. I know it will only touch on a few things and after that I'll start messing with a few things.
I have nowt to do at the mo, so I'll stick my head in the book for a bit.

Personally I would forget the books, and just try to do something. The wizard will create you a basic project; winforms is probably a good place to start if you're used to VB, and then just try to connect buttons up to numbers, that sort of thing.
