    Convert .m4a to .mp3 files?

Anyone know of a half decent freeware music format converter to convert a few hundred music files please? Thanks.

I'm sure ffmpeg can do it, it can do virtually everything, but it's not too friendly.

Mac or PC? Sure there's a couple of decent freebies in the Mac App store to do that but i'm in Windaz at the moment so will look later.

For the record, anyone looking to do a similar thing to me should look here. The converter I downloaded worked a treat and isn't crippled like the majority of the "free" converters out there that aren't really free but you only find out after you install them.

VLC can do that. All platforms.

Thanks. I already had that, didn't know it could do file type conversion.
