    OK, so I've done a search and I can't find the thread. Anyone have any recommendations for apps?

    I would NOT recommend the lightsaber app.

      Office2(as in 'squared')

      It's a bare bones word and excel app but good enough on an iPhone and I reckon it would be great on an iPad (it's probably been developed with iPads in mind).

              Angry Birds and Plants vs Zombies HD and poof 4 months of your life gone...

              PvZ I have played before on a PC/Mac and touch interface is simply superior...

              Also Osmos is great for chilling out with headphones on in a dark room..

              And just try to remember iPad is for media consuption, if you want something to be productive, buy a typewriter ffs...
