Streaming BBC iPlayer to DLNA capable TV

I was wondering if anyone can point me in direction of a guide that will explain if I can/how to:

send the output from bbc iplayer which is running on a Windows XP Media Center PC to our new Sony DLNA capable TV over our wireless network?

There's loads of stuff on web saying you can/can't do it but 'streaming' is all new to me and I'm going round in circles.

    thanks for all advice.

Buy a cheap Nintendo Wii ( plenty of SH ones kicking around ) and download the iPlayer application on that. Works a treat, no stuttering or pauses and you dont need access to the PC to use it.

thanks for the link MM. Reading all that stuff made my eyes bleed. I am going to tell the Mrs it can't be done and she will have to continue to watch it on the pc.

Before doing so, I'd ask a question on the BBC iPlayer forum that has been linked to above.

I used it yesterday for a question and got a response within a few hours which sorted out my problem.

It's staffed by techies who actively monitor it so they should be able to help.

I think the Freesat Sony TVs support iPlayer directly. So you should have bought one of those.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
