WHS - you DO NOT need your email on your site. Just registered office details (I know 'cos I checked the legislation when it changed...).Originally posted by AtW View PostEh? Legally (Ltd) should have company registered address, VAT etc - email address is not in that list I believe?"I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

Check out FormMail.pl
When I was looking to create a "contact us" form on a website, this mechanism looked to be the most widespread, easy to configure and well-tested.
And after implementing it, the amount of Spam received started to wane over time.

Yes, I'd avoid mailto: . Never liked it anyway, but now that lots of people use webmail and other things, opening the default mail client is probably not what most people want, and will even throw up an error a lot of the time. Put the email address in plain text and/or have a "send us a message" webform.Comment
