Yeah.. I mean, why would his client want to filter out things like malware from websites.
If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

Oh it wasn't just me then - I got confused by that comment...

          We are easily confused.

Some customers are more trouble than they are worth, and don't cooperate or do what they are told.

Ditch them and get ones that play properly.

For every 99 that work properly, there will be 1 that is a feck-up because that is their sole purpose in life.

            Cultivate the 99.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

His client obviously wants to keep looking at porn, without caring whether he ends up with a computer that works or not.

Your suggestion is to deliver something that stops the client doing what they want to do, and believe that their system is intended to do.

May I suggest a career at Cap Gemini?

I look at a lot of porn and have never picked up any malware. Use Firefox with both Avast and AVG running.

You obviously have no idea of how content filtering works or even how Open DNS works. The majority, if not all, content filtering solutions have the ability to be configured to filter out the category of sites you wish to filter out. So if you want to surf for porn... guess what... you can still do that with Content Filtering.

As you like to deliver insults... May I suggest you seek a career as a road sweeper?

And yes, I have done some work for Cap Gemini.
