    Can anyone suggest a free ftp client for home use please, not FTP commander as im fed up with it - Thanks.

            Totally Filezilla - its rapid. I'd actually paid for an FTP client (WS_FTP) and then tried Filezilla and was like, WTF - why is the free one 10x better?

              Just looking at filezilla now, would anyone recommend a webdrive type of application where your web server appears as a network drive on your desktop?

                  Not much good if you want to upload files. Downloading via FTP can be done by most browsers.
