Laptop purchase in Germany

Anyone know of a decent national retailer in Germany for PCs? A mate wants me to source them a lappy. Dell, obviously and Saturn, any others the panel would recommend?

for price, i think the Dells are hard to beat and if you're buying bulk then they are even more flexible on the price

Ja, und the need for Alt-Gr to get a @, the absence of a GPB symbol, und so weiter.

I've used these guys a few times for laptops for my customers and me. They'll also do English versions (there's also a laptop place on the Zeil in Frankfurt which I've heard good reports about.)

Median are a german outfit I belive and do a reasonable range of budget machines. Bought one of their PC's from Aldi a few years ago and it's still going strong.

It's Medion btw, but I'd recommend against their laptops - they really feel cheap, better to get a Dell for little or no extra
