        Thanks, I am crippled by a very slooowwww wet string ADSL connection so it isn't really practical. I do have back up strategies in place for important stuff on networked drives/flash drives/DVD's but for the pictures I'd overlooked them really!

            That's not really an issue with IDrive, you can schedule the backups to only run at 3 A.M. on a tuesday morning if you like.
            Then you just have to remember to leave your computer switched on overnight once a week.

              Good point. However, since having a PC's power supply burst into flames last year, I'll no longer leave one switched on for long periods unsupervised!
