    Notebook / Laptop Coolers

I'm fed up of toasting my nads while sat with my laptop on my lap due to the heat coming from the bottom of it..

have been looking into getting a notebook cooler of some sort, it seems there are various products around but was wondering if the crowd would recommend any particular brand/type.

the vantec lapcool's seem to be popular but the latest model is the lapcool5 and I cant find any uk shop (inc ebay) that sells anything more recent than the lapcool2..

I've heard good reviews of the Belkin Cushtop range, but to me they look to block any vents on the underside of the laptop. They're available from Amazon, Play, etc.

Use a Mac - average processor activity does not rise much above 5% when surfing, Mailing, office.

Use a PC - Refer to Vista thread and background processes.

For crying out loud, is there any question that get's posted in technical that you don't think can be answered by "Use a mac"?

Obviously not! I am getting a bit tired of the Mac comments though, starting to prefer jehovah's witnesses

The problem with over heating isn't with windows, its more likely the core duo 2 processor which tends to get hotter than the surface of the sun just by being switched on.

Let me think... nope. Practically all questions in technical can be solved with a.... Mac.
