    Potential Plan B?

Do I go for car boot sales or hit the mainstream corporations?

Seeing as the EOL has been extended to 2014 then maybe they will sell it for a bit longer.

You will still be able to get it by using Microsoft's ingenious downgrade system. You have to buy the more expensive versions of Vista to be able to downgrade to a more stable and sensible OS though. Home users can f*** right off. Lumbered.

OEMs are still able to sell XP for another year IIRC, and that's how most people get their OSs. I can't imagine many would buy the off the shelf product anyway.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
