Strongest epoxy

I have a 2.3m metal track for sliding blinds that weights a few kilos that I need to stick to the inner top sill of sliding patio doors.

Didn't check that I couldn't drill into a steel lintel, did I?

So I need to glue it, so looking for the strongest epoxy if any one has any recommendations.

What are the surfaces being stuck? Metal to metal, metal to plaster, painted/coated metal to plaster?

Presumably you need it to set very quickly? In which case, you might be better off with contact adhesive, or a grab adhesive ("no nails" type stuff), rather than epoxy.

A few kilos might be asking a lot of any glue in this situation. If it was me, I'd try drilling pilot holes* in the lintel and use self tapping screws.

NB. wear full goggles when drilling metal, especially overhead. Don't do what I did a few years ago, and rely on ordinary glasses for protection. Metal fragments in the eye are a bastard.

* a sharp HSS drill bit should do the job
