    +1 to avoid western Digital. Recently had one of their drives fail, the first time ever for me. I had the misfortune to buy a SanDisk USB drive recently (and they are now owned by WD) and it was awful. Seems like a company really going downhill with some of their products.

      That's annoying about SanDisk. I use their Extreme Pro CF & SD cards in my cameras.

        Re USB drives, my experience is that one needs to watch out for fakes.

        I've had no problem with genuine devices.
