My XP box keeps crashing, only when I log onto the admin account. Does anybody know of anything I can do to stop it doing this. Works fine in all the limited accounts - just not the admin one

Crashing using admin
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

No error - just gets to the point of starting and then reboots - as though it has been switched off. Doesn't happen with the limited accountsRule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Ignore this - I'd left another account as an admin (pretty lax of me!) which I used to delete the admin account and then replaced it. Seems to have done the trick.

Have you installed a service pack or similar recently?
Could be many things...when it first boots, its then starting to load drivers/startup programs/runonce stuff etc.
Boot in safe mode, if it starts...then its more than likely driver. If it does not, then drivers are ruled out and its software/program related.Comment
